Jessica Castleman Besterda's Obituary
Jessica (Castleman) Besterda, 28, of Fort Wayne, passed away suddenly Wednesday, July 26, 2017. She was the daughter of Alan and Rene (Hege) Castleman of Woodburn. She received her B.S. in Sociology from IPFW. She co-managed the family Dairy Queen business in Van Wert, OH. She enjoyed animals, but the love of her life was her daughter, Kirbie Besterda, who survives.
She is also survived by her brother, Dwight (Chelsea) Castleman of Rockford, OH; paternal grandparents, Donald and Mary Castleman of Fort Wayne; maternal grandmother, Marianna Hege of Fort Wayne; fiancé, Tyler Heim of Fort Wayne. She was also preceded in death by her grandfather, Lee Hege.
Funeral service is 2 p.m. Monday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven. Visitation is 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial in IOOF Cemetery, New Haven. Preferred memorials to her daughter’s college fund.
