Jesse A. Spillers' Obituary
Jesse A. Spillers, 66, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Monday, January 9, 2023, at home with his family by his side. Born in Fort Wayne, he was the owner and operator of J.A.S. Wrecking & Demolition. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, jigsaw puzzles, NASCAR, dice, and music.
He is survived by his wife, Charlene Spillers; children, Jessica Hart, Joseph Spillers, and Julie Walters; mother, Alice Spillers; siblings, Beverly (Jim) Burns and H. Tom (Helen) Spillers; and 15 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Howard Spillers Sr.; son, Jesse Spillers II in 2019; and sister, Janet Ingram.
Funeral service is 1 p.m. Friday, January 13, 2023, at Harper's Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd 930 E., New Haven with visitation one hour prior. Visitation is also 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial in IOOF Cemetery, New Haven. Preferred memorials are to the family, c/o Charlene Spillers.
