Jerry K. Carpenter, Sr.'s Obituary
Jerry K. Carpenter, Sr., 75, of Fort Wayne, died February 12, 2013 at home. Born in New Haven, he was the son of the late Leonard and Mae Elnora Carpenter. He retired from National Serv-All.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon; children, Jerry (Misty) Jr., Robert (Tanya), David, Jason (Danielle), Tanya Carpenter, Rhonda (Rick) King, Tisa (Patrick) Burnham; sisters, Juanita James, Patricia Robinson, and Brenda Radkey; 15 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and one great great granddaughter. He was also preceded in death by first wife, Wilma; daughter, Sheryl Carpenter Zent; and grandson, Matthew Carpenter.
Funeral service is 10:30 a.m., Thursday, February 14, 2013 at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with calling one hour prior. The Rev. Paul Shoemaker officiating. Calling is also 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at the funeral home. Burial is in I.O.O.F. Cemetery New Haven. Preferred memorials are to the family, c/o Jason Carpenter.
