Genevieve "Jenny" Nagel's Obituary
Genevieve "Jenny" Nagel, 92, died Thursday, February 21, 2013 at home. Born in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Walburga Rondot. She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, Fort Wayne.
She is survived by her sons, Michael (Marti), Norbert (Liz), and Timothy (Deb) all of Fort Wayne; and Dennis (Mary K.) of Indianapolis; daughters, Patricia (Tim) Freeman, Linda Orth, Carol (Dennis) Winter, and Donna (Bill) Honor all of Fort Wayne, and Ronda Nagel of Mishawaka; siblings, Tom Rondot of New Haven, Dan Rondot of Fort Wayne, and Violet Reising of Indianapolis; 27 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; and one great great grandson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Michael Nagel, Sr.; daughter, Julia Nagel; seven brothers; and five sisters.
Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 518 E. DeWald St., Fort Wayne with visitation one hour prior. Calling is 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, February 25, 2013 at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven. Burial is in the Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Preferred memorials are Masses or Parkview Home Health and Hospice.
