Jeffrey Wayne Rhoades' Obituary
Jeffrey Wayne Rhoades, 58, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, October 28, 2018 at home. Born in Morgantown, WV, he was employed with Hanson Aggregates-Ardmore Quarry, Fort Wayne for 39 years and was a member of IUOE Local 103. He was also a member of the NRA, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, Komets Hockey, and classic television. He is survived by his children, Matthew (Jennifer) Rhoades of Defiance, OH and Jaimie Rhoades of Antwerp, OH; mother, Mary Rhoades of Woodburn; brother, Thomas (Colleen) Rhoades of New Haven; and grandson, Braedon Baer of Antwerp, OH. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas E. Rhoades. Funeral services are 11 a.m., Saturday at North Scipio United Methodist Church, 23628 IN-37, Harlan with visitation one hour prior to service. Pastor Keith Scheffler or Pastor Matt Bock officiating. Visitation is also 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Harper’s Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven. Burial in Scipio Cemetery, Harlan.
