Jean Pearl Campbell's Obituary
Jean Pearl Campbell, 89, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, got her wings and went to walk with the angels on Tuesday, January 17, 2023. Born in South Whitley on December 2, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Merle and Wahneetah (Crose) Sivits. She retired in 1995 from General Electric after 32 years. She was a member of the ELEX club, Pennell club, Quarter Century club (GE), Anthony Wayne Church of God. Jean also volunteered at the food bank, was a survivor of breast cancer, and a lifelong blood donor.
She is survived by her children, Rick (Jennifer) Meshberger, Peggy Ferguson, Steve (Margaret) Meshberger, Penny (Jim) Davies, Steve (Eleanore) Campbell, Sandy (Ron) Reuille, Greg (Joanna) Campbell, and Debra Zakhi; brother, Max Sivits; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by husband of 22 years, Chuck in 1997; and siblings, Art, Dick, and Barbara.
Funeral service is 9:30 a.m. Saturday, January 21, 2023, at Harper's Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven. Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, January 20, 2023, at the funeral home. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne. Preferred memorials are to the National Alzheimer's Association or the Breast Cancer Foundation.
