Janice Lou Linker's Obituary
Janice Lou Linker, 79, passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at Lutheran Downtown Hospital, Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Luella (Nahrwold) Linker. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Decatur. She worked as a laser cutter at Fort Wayne Wire Die for 47 years. An avid sports fan, she loved Komet hockey, IU Basketball and the Indianapolis Colts. She also enjoyed dining out and spending time with her family. She is survived by her siblings, Duane (Lavera) Linker, Dave (Jane) Linker, Lon (Corina) Linker and Linda (Loren) Juday; sister-in-law, Arlene Linker; and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Terry, Byron and Kenneth Linker. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 1033 E 100 N, Decatur with visitation one hour prior. Visitation is also 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at Harper's Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven. Burial in the church cemetery.
