"Aunt" Janet which is how we referred to her was a wonderful lady to our family. Her and my mom worked together many many years. I can remember back in the day of analog phones when Aunt Janet would call and then her and mom would talk for a long time. You could never listen in and figure out what they were saying because they talked in a code almost. One would start a sentence and the other would answer before the end because the other knew what was going to be said. They communicated in their own way. Janet always came to our family get togethers like at Christmas and weddings and other special occasions. She truly was a part of our family and we are going to miss her dearly, but she is in a much better place. She always knew just what to say or a little saying she would give us to bright our mood and provide inspiration for all of us. She was a great friend to my mom. They were like sisters. More recently I would occasionally see Janet at the Huddle House with Kathy waiting on us, but Janet had free run of the place. She would get her own coffee or water or tea. She would talk to customers etc. It was like she was an employee. And whenever I would see her, she would pull a big pile of coupons out of her purse and give me and my coworker coupons for our meal. Just the way she was always helping people and always smiling.
Janet you will be greatly missed by a whole bunch of people on this Earth, but I know you are looking down on us with your parents and my dad. Keep them in line and we look forward to seeing you again with our Savior. RIP
