I knew Mike from early on in the mid 60s in The Post with Danny Benton, but I didn't get to see them perform live because I was in The Vondels and the original Pictorian Skiffuls and we were doing gigs also. His reputation as a great bass player, and singer got around though, and everyone knew what a talent he was, besides being a nice guy. He was Ohio's McCartney! My condolences to all his family, I know he will be missed by everyone. I'm not on fbook, but Ira Stanley told me he had passed. He'll always have a place in my memorys. *Ron Skinner*

I crossed paths with Mike numerous times over the years. He was fantastic on stage, a great friend and he will be missed by everyone. Sincerest condolences to his family.
Mike was always so helpful to me with the music for "Foxfire". I didn't know him well but appreciated his talent and willingness to help. My sincere sympathy goes out to Debra and his whole family.
