James "Jay Jay" Parker III's Obituary
James Oliver “Jay Jay” Parker III, 28, passed away unexpectantly on Friday May 21, 2021 at home. Born in Fort Wayne, he was the son of James (Nina Newson) Parker Jr and Christina (Kevin) Arnold who both survive. He had a zest of life and adventure. Jay Jay loved to write music and rap in his spare time. Jay Jay graduated from Indiana Tech with his Associate Degree in Engineering. He was the owner of Parker Priority Services and was well known for being a handyman. Jay Jay loved his family; his wife and children were his world. He also enjoyed refurbishing furniture, fixing cars, and spending time with his family. He is also survived by his childhood sweetheart and wife, Brooke (VanOsdale) Parker; son, Jayden Parker; daughters, Catalayia and Jayia Parker; brothers, Jontavious Hood and Brandon Moore; sisters, Keira Hall and Mikayla Parker; grandparents; Charles and Teresa Hatten, James (Alice) Parker Sr., Martha (Henry) Bates; In-laws, Lisa (Todd) Bower, and Brian (April) VanOsdale. Funeral service is 2 p.m. Friday, May 28, 2021 at Harper’s Community Funeral Home, 740 State Road 930 E., New Haven with visitation four hours prior (10 a.m.-2 p.m.). Service will also be streamed on the Harper’s Community Funeral Home Facebook page. Preferred memorials are to Jay Jay’s Children’s Fund, c/o Brooke Parker.
