Irene C. Hauke's Obituary
Irene C. Hauke, 85, of New Haven, was called home by her Lord on Thursday, November 21, 2013 at Adams Heritage, Monroeville. Born in Woodburn, she was the daughter of the late Fredrick and Anna Hirsch. She was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church, New Haven. She was an avid bowler and loved spending time at the lake with her family.
Irene is survived by her children, Pam (Walter) Werling; Errick (Paula) Hauke and Randall (Ann) Hauke; brother, Kenneth Hirsch; grandchildren, Marc and Jason Werling, Drew, Brian, and Brad Hauke, Nicole Huston, and Katie Lord; and 18 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Gene Hauke in August 2013; grandson, Rodney Werling; and siblings, Elda Augenstein and Arnold Hirsch.
Funeral service is 2:30 p.m. Monday, November 25, 2013 at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 800 Green St., New Haven with calling one hour prior to the service. Pastor David Stecker officiating. Calling is also 1 to 5 p.m., Sunday, November 24, 2013 at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven. Burial is in Concordia Cemetery Gardens, Fort Wayne. Preferred memorials are to Berne Hospice Care.
