Herbert J. Lothamer's Obituary
Herbert J. Lothamer, 90, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2024, at home. Born in Fort Wayne, he was the son of the late Cletus and Anna Marie (Lucas) Lothamer. He served his country in the US Navy, had worked for Fruehauf Trailers, and went on to retire from ITT Industries after 12 years. He enjoyed gardening, woodworking, birdwatching, hunting, and fishing.
He is survived by his children, Lance (Margie) Lothamer, Jennifer (Adam) Randolph, and Kelly Reynolds; siblings, James Lothamer and Geraldine Bailey; seven grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Karan in 2022; son, Christopher in 2023; and siblings, Cletus Jr, Edward, Paul, Donald, Robert, Charles, and Larry Lothamer, and Rosemary Grist
Family will be receiving friends from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, January 4, 2025, at Harper's Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven. In lieu of flowers, preferred memorials are to Honor Flight or The Shepherd House. For online condolences please visit www.harperfuneralhome.com
