Henry A Reinking's Obituary
Henry A. Reinking, 88, passed away on Sunday, January 20, 2019 at Parkview Hospice Randallia, Fort Wayne. He was born in Ossian to the late Martin and Martha (Bauermeister) Reinking. He worked for Rea Magnet Wire, Fort Wayne for 38 years and retired in 1993. He was a longtime member of the Concordia Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne. Henry proudly served his country in the Air Force during the Korean War. He enjoyed traveling and fishing.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Doris (Zimmerman) Reinking; step-son, Charles (Sue) Garber of New Haven; grandsons Christopher Garber and Sean (Kodi) Garber; great grandson, Chase Garber; brother, Donald Reinking of Fort Wayne. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Leona Lampe, Raymond, Wilbert and Vernon Reinking. Funeral service is at 11am on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at Concordia Lutheran Church, 4245 Lake Ave, Fort Wayne with visitation one-hour prior. Pastor Doug Croucher officiating. Entombment at Concordia Cemetery Gardens. Visitation is also 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at Harper’s Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven. Preferred memorials are to the church and Worship A New, Fort Wayne.
