Helen M. Wilcox's Obituary
Helen M. Wilcox, 93, passed away Thursday, June 15, 2017 at Hospice Home, Fort Wayne. Born in Van Wert, Ohio she was the daughter of the late Clifford and Eva (Tomlinson) Beamer. She was a member of Salem United Church of Christ, Fort Wayne. She retired in 1999 from East Allen County Schools after 35 years. She also enjoyed gardening, crocheting, and jigsaw puzzles.
She is survived by husband of 70 years, William Wilcox, Sr.; children, William (Angela) Wilcox, Jr. of New Haven and Joyce (Kent) Ellison of Fort Wayne; five grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her grandson, Jeremy White in 2002; three brothers; and five sisters.
Funeral service is 10 a.m. Monday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with calling one hour prior to service. Pastor Larry W. Holderbaum officiating. Visitation is 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial in IOOF Cemetery, New Haven. Preferred memorials are to Salem United Church of Christ or American Heart Association.
