Helen C Shaheen's Obituary
Helen C Shaheen, 86, of New Haven, passed away on Friday, April 25, 2025, at Lincolnshire Place, Fort Wayne. She was the daughter of the late William and Agnes (Rothgeb) Doehrman. She previously attended St. Paul Lutheran Church (Gar Creek), New Haven. She enjoyed shopping, baking, and hosting large dinner parties. Helen especially loved spending time with her family and spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Sam Shaheen, and Linda (Nick) Emenhiser; grandchildren, Tara Shaheen, Teresa (Allan) Duckworth, Jordan (Carla) Shaheen, Christopher (Katie) Emenhiser, Brittany (Shane) Mataraza, and Andrew Emenhiser; 5 great grandchildren, and 1 step great granddaughter. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Fred Shaheen in 2019, and her sister, Irene Kayal. Funeral service is 12 P.M. (Noon), Monday, May 5, 2025, at Harper’s Community Funeral Home, 740 State Road 930 E., New Haven, IN, with visitation 2 hours prior (10 A.m. – Noon). Burial at Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Preferred memorials to Alzheimer’s Association of Greater Indiana Chapter-NE Office, www.alz.org/indiana.
