Helen L. Emenhiser's Obituary
Helen L. Emenhiser, 90, of Monroeville, died Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at Parkview North Hospital, Fort Wayne. Born in Antwerp, OH she was the daughter of the late William and Lizzie Gordon. She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, Payne, OH. Helen was also a member of the Do-Better Club, T.O.P.S. Club and loved sitting on the porch looking at her flowers, arguing politics, talking about farming and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her son, Rex (Keli) Emenhiser of Monroeville; brother, Wayne Gordon of Cecil, Ohio; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Emenhiser in 1991; children, Richard Moon, Dennis Emenhiser, and Jan Bowers; three sisters; and three brothers.
Funeral service is 10 a.m. Saturday, October 8, 2011 at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven. Pastor Julia Ronngren officiating. Calling is from 1 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home. Burial in Bethel Cemetery, Paulding, OH. Preferred memorials are to Woodburn Lutheran School or St. Paul United Methodist Church, Payne, OH.
