Helen L. Doty's Obituary
Helen L. Doty, 96, passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at Summit City Nursing and Rehabilitation, Fort Wayne. Born in New Haven, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Blanche (Downs) Doty. She was a member of New Haven United Methodist Church, New Haven. She retired from General Electric after 40 years and was a member of the General Electric Elex Club. She was also a member of American Legion Auxiliary.
She is survived by her nieces, Beth (Arnold Noe) Dannecker-Noe and Jill (Frederick) Bueker both of Fort Wayne, Karla (Greg) Anderson of Fort Wayne; and nephews, James (Marie) Doty of Fort Wayne and Jerry (Sandy) Doty of Springfield, OH. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Ruth Dannecker, Paul, Homer, Howard, and Dick Doty.
Funeral Service is 2 p.m. Monday, January 9, 2016 at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with calling one hour prior. Pastor Chuck Fenwick officiating. Burial in IOOF Cemetery, New Haven. Preferred memorials are to HOPE for Animals, Fort Wayne.
