Heidi K. Bredemeyer's Obituary
Heidi K. Bredemeyer, 46, currently of Indianapolis and formerly of Ft. Wayne, passed away suddenly, February 6, 2011. Born in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of Joan Karr and the late Donald Bredemeyer. She was a 1983 graduate of Concordia Lutheran High School, Fort Wayne, received her bachelor’s from IPFW, Fort Wayne, and went on to receive her Master of Public Affairs from IUPUI, Indianapolis where she has lived since 1994. She was an Administrative Coordinator for the Quality Enrichment Research Initiative at the Department of Veterans Affairs and formerly was a certified research assistant at IUPUI.
She is survived by her mother, Joan Bredemeyer, sisters, Christine (Craig) Ostermeyer, Kathleen (Michael Gobert) Bredemeyer, Michele (Don) Remenschneider and Joy (Zac) Cook all of Fort Wayne; one niece; five nephews; and two great-nephews.
Funeral service is 11 a.m. Friday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with calling one hour prior to service. Pastor Mark Neubacher officiating. Calling is also 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven. Burial is in Concordia Lutheran Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Preferred memorials are to Heifer International or Donor’s Choice.
