Gloria Agnes Kage's Obituary
Gloria Agnes Kage, 84, passed away on Friday, January 6, 2017 at Parkview Hospital - Randallia, Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late Gustave and Agnes (Strock) Stoeckley. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, New Haven.
She is survived by her children, Gerald (Michelle) Kage, Jr., Steven (DeeDee) Kage, and Teresa (David) Haslup all of Fort Wayne, Bob Kage and Jennifer (David) Boatright both of New Haven, Kathy (Harry) Parent of Avon, Cynthia (David) Nolt of New Market, AL, Laura Lemish and Susan (David) Murphy both of Churubusco, Linda (Chris) Burch of Garrett; siblings, Tom Stoeckley and Barbara (Bob) Askins both of Fort Wayne, Bob Stoeckley of Roanoke, and Florine Schneider of New Haven; 26 grandchildren; and 23 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Gerald Kage, Sr. in 1991; daughter, Janet Kage; two sisters; and three brothers.
Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Wednesday, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 943 Powers St., New Haven, with calling one hour prior. Father Bill Sullivan officiating. Calling is also 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven. Burial in Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Preferred memorials are to Masses.
