Glenn E. Eiden's Obituary
Glenn E. Eiden, 86, of New Haven, passed away June 16, 2014 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. Born in Chicago, IL, he was the son of the late Leonard and Louella Eiden. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, New Haven. The US Navy veteran served his country in World War II and was a member of American Legion Post #330. Glenn retired in 1992 from Philips Electronics as an electrical engineer. He was also a member of IEEE and the Flying Circuits Model Airplane Club.
Glenn is survived by his wife of 61 years, Irene; children, Debra (Greg) Richey, Dawn (Ed) Henline, and Keith (Kim) Eiden all of Fort Wayne, Julie (Mark) Van Driessche, Michael (Vicki) Eiden, and Steven Eiden, all of New Haven, Karen (Chuck) Rossman of Katy, TX, and Mark (Rina) Eiden of Clarence, NY; sister, Marilyn Ruiz of Milwaukee; 26 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Friday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 943 Powers St., New Haven with calling one hour prior. Father Polycarp Fernando officiating. Calling is also 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with a rosary at 3:30 p.m. Burial in the church cemetery with military honors. Preferred memorials are to Masses.
