Gilbert Bradtmueller's Obituary
Gilbert Bradtmueller, 92, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at Lutheran Life Villages, Fort Wayne. Born in Hoagland, he was the son of the late Lawrence and Alma (Boenker) Bradtmueller. He was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church, New Haven, where he was an usher and served on the cemetery committee. He served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. He worked at General Homes early in his career and retired from Masolite, Fort Wayne, with over 35 years.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Marilyn (nee Busse) Bradtmueller; daughters, Judy (Michael) Hanni, Sheri Foote, and Joy Bradtmueller; sister, Annette Werling; grandchildren, Dakota (Kristie) Foote and Daniel Foote; and great grandchildren, Raleigh and Cade Foote. He was also preceded in death by his three brothers; three sisters; and son-in-law, Fred Foote.
Funeral service is 10:30 am Friday, August 1, 2025, at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 800 Green St, New Haven with visitation one hour prior. Visitation is also 4 to 8 pm Thursday, July 31, 2025, at Harper's Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven, Indiana. Burial in Concordia Cemetery Gardens, Fort Wayne.
