Germaine T. "Geri" Craft's Obituary
Germaine T. “Geri” Craft, 88, passed away on Tuesday, November 03, 2015 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. Born in Pewamo, MI she was the daughter of the late William and Mary (Schafer) Smith. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, New Haven. She retired in 1992 from Do-It-Best after 18 years.
She is survived by her children, William Craft of Foristell, MO and Cheryl (Tom) Faurote of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Angela Craft of Los Angeles, CA, Ryan (Jamie) Craft of Hoagland, Brad Faurote of New Haven, and Joel (Danielle) Faurote of Fort Wayne; great grandchildren, Linnea Johnson, Dylan Faurote, and Elliott Faurote all of Fort Wayne; and siblings, Paul (Greta) Smith of Montclair, VA, Harriet Motz of St. Johns, MI, and Alma Smith of Pewamo, MI. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Richard in 2005; and siblings, Clarence and Leonard Smith, Marian Hafner, and Sister Hildegarde.
Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Friday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 943 Powers St. New Haven with calling one hour prior to service. Father Bill Sullivan officiating. Calling is also 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with a vigil at 3:30 p.m. Burial in the church cemetery. Preferred memorials are to Matthew 25 or St. John the Baptist Catholic School.
