I am saddened to hear this. Tom and Steve, you know Deb and I would have been there, but I only saw this Saturday at Noon. We enjoyed countless dinners with friends at Three Kings. The rib dinners were my favorite with ribs and fries hanging at the edge of an oversized plate. Three Kings was the only place I would wait for an hour for a meal. Hoagland has never been the same without Three Kings! You guys have been lifetime friends, especially Tom. We started our careers together at Rice Oldsmobile and made a lot of memories in the Bultemeier garage. Our sympathies to the rest of the family as well, I hope Jake did not suffer. Good guy, I remember that sneaky look and laugh.
All of my thoughts and prayers are with the entire family. To Steve, Sharon, Tom and Nila, I am sorry for your loss. Jake was a very nice man. 3 Kings was not the same without he and Marilyn. I would see them out at the auto auction and Jake at the Orland American Legion. They both probably remember me best for feeding the fish at their pond while Sharon gathered her stuff for the day at Coldwater Lake after the prom.. They are in a better place and at peace.
