Franklin Louis Goeglein's Obituary
Franklin Louis "Frank" Goeglein, 83, passed away on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at home. Born in New Haven, he was the son of the late Herbert and Luella (Messman) Goeglein. He served his country in the US Navy and retired in 1999 from Zollner Corporation after 39 years. An avid sports fan, he could be found cheering on Purdue and Snider High School sports along with the Cleveland Indians and Browns. He enjoyed spending time at Lake George with his family, along with playing golf at the Arlington Park Golf Club, bowling, and playing cards. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary (Langdon) Goeglein; children, Jody Glass, Cheryl (Patrick) Kinder, and Brad (Kim) Goeglein all of Fort Wayne; sisters, Ruby Laudig, Carolyn (Bob) Scott, and Linda (Vern) Frazier all of Bradenton, FL; and grandchildren, Tyler (Lisa) and Maggie Glass, Alex, Dana, and Jack Kinder, Kyle and Brooke Goeglein. Funeral service is 4 p.m. Saturday at Harper's Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E, New Haven with visitation two hours prior to service.
