Frank "Morley" Krieger's Obituary
Frank Morley Krieger, 83, of Waldorf, Md., formerly of New Haven, passed away peacefully in the early hours of Saturday, July 4, 2026, at home with his family by his side. Born in Fort Erie, Canada on January 13, 1943, he was the son of the late Carl G. Krieger and Mary Evon Henderson. Morley lived a life devoted to faith, family, and community service. He proudly volunteered as a fireman and fire chief at New Haven Volunteer Fire Department, Ind. before moving to Maryland to assist in overseeing the building of St. Charles Towne Center and everyday operations of the mall. A devoted Christian, Morley also served as a deacon, discipleship leader, and on other church committees. He was a good and faithful servant and known as the "hugging deacon".
He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Diana; daughters, Kelly Krieger Chin of N.C. and Kimberly (Michael Ulmschneider) Krieger of Md.; brother, Reverend Marvin W. (Don Sheffrin) Krieger of N.Y.; and grandchildren, Cole Chin, Cassandra Chin, Tyler Ulmschneider, Sebastian Ulmschneider, and Savanna Ulmschneider.
Graveside service is 1 pm Thursday, July 16, 2026, at IOOF Cemetery, 1109 Hartzell Rd., New Haven.
