Faye A. Newport's Obituary
Faye A. Newport, 88, of Angola, died Saturday, July 7, 2012 at Lakeland Nursing Home, Angola. Born in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Lucille Smith. She retired in 1969 from Parent Packing after 15 years of service. She is survived by her children, Judy Apollo, Twyla (Bill) Schmidt, and Cathy Craig; step-children, Grover Newport, Darlene (Bob) Schurg, Karen Newport, and Kevin Newport; five grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Keith Newport in 1999; four brothers; and two sisters. Funeral service is 7 p.m. Thursday, July 12, 2012 at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with calling 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. prior to service. Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Preferred memorials are to the family, c/o Cathy Craig.
