Evelyn I. Sudmann's Obituary
Evelyn I. Sudmann, 86, of Fort Wayne, joined her husband with their Lord Sunday, August 28, 2011 at her home. Born in rural Shelby County, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Irene (Schrolucke) Fledderjohann. She was a member of Blackhawk Ministries. She retired in 1987 after 23 years of service for Magnavox Corp.
Evelyn is survived by her children, Darlene (Daniel) Spencer of Andrews, Aleta (David) Trietsch of Fort Wayne, and Rev. Allen (Sally) Sudmann of Davison, Mich.; sister: Virginia Snyder of Sidney, OH; brother: Eldred Fledderjohann of Marysville, MI; nine grandchildren; and 28 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Willis E. Sudmann in Nov. of 2010 and son, Dean Sudmann in 1988.
Service is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2011 at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with the Rev. Joe Wenger officiating. Calling is 2- 4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial is in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, New Haven. Preferred memorials are to Heartland Hospice.
