Eva "Eve" Frances McCague's Obituary
Eva "Eve" Frances McCague, 86, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Monday, January 9, 2023, at Heritage Park Nursing, Fort Wayne. Born in Palmertown, CT., she was the daughter of the late Irving and Helen (Shaw) Anderson. She served her country in the US Navy and retired from the VA Hospital as a seamstress after 20 years. She was an Alabama State Champion in Dominos and loved animals, sewing, cake decorating, country music, and going to the senior center.
She is survived by her children, Mary (Jamie) Cerniglia, Raymond (Kathy) Cole, Diane Cole, Debbie (Don) Taylor, and Linda (Troy) Waters; siblings, James (Nancy) Anderson, Clayton (Edie) Anderson, Mary Rose Anderson, and Barbara (Dana) Newcomb; grandchildren, Betty Mosher, Amanda (Jonathan) Gordner, Jason Cole, and Julia (Colton) Scott; and twin great-grandchildren, Ruby and Charlotte Gordner. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Raymond Cole Sr and Wendell McCague; three brothers; and one sister.
Memorial service is 3 p.m. Saturday, January 14, 2023, at Harper's Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with visitation one hour prior and military honors.
