Eunice R. DeVoe's Obituary
Eunice R. DeVoe, 88, passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at Community Hospital South, Indianapolis. Born in Decatur County, she was the daughter of the late Glenn and Helen (Pfeifer) Gault. She was a member of New Haven United Methodist Church, New Haven. She retired in 1995 from State Farm Insurance after 32 years and was a member of the Fort Wayne Insurance Adjusters Association. She was also a member of the Easter Star Chapter 505 and the American Legion Auxiliary.
She is survived by her children, Timothy (Carol) DeVoe of Antigo, WI and Jennifer (David) Gibson of Fort Lauderdale, FL; siblings, Pauline Ball of Indianapolis, Mary Laws of Westport, and Genevieve Wills of Carmel; seven grandchildren; two step grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and two step great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by husband of 62 years, David W. DeVoe in 2010; son, David A. DeVoe; and siblings, an infant brother, Charles and Harold Gault, Alice Grimes, Beulah Blauvelt, and Ralph Gault.
Funeral service is 2 p.m. Monday at New Haven United Methodist Church, 630 Lincoln Hwy E., New Haven with calling one hour prior. Pastor Chuck Fenwick officiating. Calling is also 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven. Burial in Concordia Lutheran Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Preferred memorials are to the church.
