Eugene Trzynka's Obituary
Eugene Trzynka, 95, passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at Kingston Memory Care at Dupont, Fort Wayne. Born at home in Allen County, he was the son of the late Carl and Selma (Nimmer) Trzynka. He was a machinist at International Harvester, Fort Wayne and retired in 1983 and he proudly served his country in the US Airforce. He was a private pilot and took many long-distance flights with his wife and children. He was a member of the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) and built Jeanie’s Teenie in 1972 and a Pietenpol Air Camper in 1980. He was an avid reader, loved doing crossword puzzles and he was known to fix about anything. He loved seeing his grandchildren, they always put a smile on his face. He is survived by his loving wife of 74 years, FloRose (Bock) Trzynka; children, Timothy (Linda) Trzynka, Joel (Peggy) Trzynka both of Fort Wayne, Michael (Sue) Trzynka of Sandusky, OH, Mark (Jill) Trzynka of Iron River, WI, Carla (Gayle Littrell) Trzynka of Lexington, KY, Susan (Mike) Schweickert of Fishers, daughter-in-law, Linda Trzynka, Iron River, WI; siblings, James (Joyce) Trzynka, and Marilyn Kimmel; 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his sons, Steven and David Trzynka, grandchild Brandon Herbst and siblings, Harold Trzynka, Norman Trzynka, Evelyn Caston, and Ardis Lunz. Funeral Service is 1 p.m. Friday. October 21, 2022, at Harper’s Community Funeral Home, 740 State Road 930 E., New Haven with visitation two hours prior. Entombment at Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne will be private. In Lieu of Flowers preferred memorials are to Mathew 25 Health and Care, Fort Wayne, Stillwater Hospice, Fort Wayne, or donor’s choice.
