Emma M. McCormick's Obituary
Emma M. McCormick, 95, of New Haven died on Monday, March 12, 2012 at Golden Years Homestead, Fort Wayne. Born in Carrier Mills, Ill. she was the daughter of the late Harvey and Effie Parks. She was a member of New Haven United Methodist Church. She retired after 19 years of service with General Electric Company.
She is survived by her son, Jack (Diann) McCormick; sisters, Virginia (Gene) Roberts Auburn and Joan Lough of Big Long Lake; step-sister, Dorothy (William) Burford of New Haven; daughter-in-law, Vicki Kelley of Venice, Fla.; eight grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Glenn in 2003; son, Richard in 1971; brothers, Morris, Harold, and Wayne Parks; sisters, Velma Pancake and Elizabeth Wagner; and daughter-in-law, Betty McCormick.
Funeral service is 10 a.m. Thursday, March 15, 2012 at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with calling one hour prior. Pastor Rick Taylor officiating. Calling is 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at the funeral home. Burial is in Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Preferred memorials are to New Haven United Methodist Church.
