Elvin White's Obituary
Elvin "Buck" Emmerson White, 92, passed away Sunday, January 23, 2022, at Cedarhurst Senior Living. Born in Fort Wayne, he was the son of the late Silas and Effie (Mull) White. He was a member of Taylor Chapel, Fort Wayne. He served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. He worked as a carpenter and was a bus driver for 37 years. He enjoyed Farmall tractors, woodworking, and spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Naomi; children, Karan (Steve) Coomer of Monroeville, Buck (Kathy) White Jr of Fort Wayne and Ken (Julie) White of Roanoke; five grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, William White, Edna Dean, Irene Handerson, Lillie Wesseler and Rosie Sowers. No services. Preferred memorials to Taylor Chapel, Fort Wayne.
