Elaine Helen Recksiedler's Obituary
Elaine Helen Recksiedler, 84, of Cleveland passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at her daughter's home with family by her side. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Mathews) Lendzian. Elaine was a very active member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Cleveland, Ohio, the Trinity Altar Guild and also facilitated bible classes. In 2013 she retired as church secretary after 20 years of service. She enjoyed her time as a teacher's aide at Rocky River High School in Ohio and was a member of the Cleveland Hiking Club.
She is survived by children, Cheryl (Paul) Shoemaker of New Haven, IN, Ronald (Cindy) Recksiedler of El Cajon, CA, and Gary (JoAnne) Recksiedler of Lakewood, OH; brother, John Frederick Lendzian of Cleveland, OH; ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
The memorial service will be held at 2:00 in the afternoon on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2031 West 30th St., Cleveland, Ohio with calling one hour prior to service. Deacon Brian Upton officiating. In lieu of flowers, preferred memorials are to Beckerath Organ Restoration Fund – Trinity Evangelical Lutheran (www.clevelandbeckerath.org).
