Elaine Busche's Obituary
Elaine Busche, 85, passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at Parkview Hospital – Randallia, Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late Roger and Lucybelle (Dinger) Roth. She was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Leo. She was a strong woman of faith and believed in the power of prayer. Elaine dedicated each day to praying for those in need. She enjoyed knitting, crossword and jigsaw puzzles and playing solitaire. Elaine’s real passion was spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children, Kathy Bell of Leo, Karen (Ned) Powell of Bellevue, OH, Roger (Kandy) Busche of Greer, SC, and Martin (CeCe) Busche of Evansville; 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Otto L. Busche, Jr. and 2 great grandchildren.
Funeral service 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Harper’s Community Funeral Home, 740 State Road 930 E., New Haven with calling one hour prior. The Reverend Robert Eickmann officiating. Calling is also 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial in IOOF Cemetery, New Haven. Preferred memorials are to the church .
