Eileen L. McNeal's Obituary
Eileen Louise McNeal, 92, of Fort Wayne passed away, February 7, 2011 at Lutheran Life Villages, Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late William and Linda Butler. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, Fremont. She enjoyed spending time with her family, working in her flowerbeds, and taking care of her house plants. She also enjoyed spending her summers at Lake James.
She is survived by her children, Robert (Sharon) McNeal of Angola and Fort Myers Beach, Flor. and Barbara (Eugene) Cabral of Fort Wayne; ten grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and 11 great great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Henry in 1971; daughter, Marlene Amstutz in 2001; granddaughter, Karen Renee McNeal in 1961; and brothers, Robert, Richard, Donald, and William Butler.
Funeral service is 2 p.m. Wednesday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with calling from Noon to 2 p.m. prior to service. Pastor Wayne Berkesch officiating. Burial is in St. Peter’s Lutheran Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Preferred memorials are to Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana.
