Edward "Eddie" Goldsmith's Obituary
Edward "Eddie" Goldsmith, 59, passed away on October 25, 2014 at home. He was the son of the late Edward Goldsmith and Mary (Nietupski) Hibbard. He was a production technician for Flash Fold for 12 years and then Paperworks in Greensboro, NC, for 18 years. A devoted family man, Eddie lived for his wife, kids, and his grandkids. God gave him the gift of making people laugh.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Shirley; children, Angela (Chris) Louagie of Monroeville, Emily (Terry) Schlotterback of New Haven, Bridget Pollard of Louisville, KY, Edward B. Goldsmith of Louisville, KY, and Daniel (Sarah) Grady of WV; siblings, Allen (Sharon) Goldsmith, Jimmy (Jackie) Goldsmith, Johnny Goldsmith, Bonnie Anderson-Copas, Nancy (David) Cunningham, and Tammy Goldsmith all of Louisville, KY., 12 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Linda Goldsmith, and grandson, Andrew Schlotterback.
Funeral Service is 1 p.m. Friday at Hopper Funeral Home, 302 N. Broadway, Barbourville, KY, with calling one hour prior. Brother Eddie Gunter officiating. Calling is 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial in Calvary Cemetery, Barbourville. Preferred memorials are to the family.
