Phyllis, may our Lord bless and comfort you and your family as we keep you in our prayers during this time of grief. Over 30 years ago I told Ceri that I had met a real character while working at a Holy Name fish fry. He liked fishing which was my only hobby and he was a carpenter which I was interested in learning more about woodworking. I pulled out the church directory to show Ceri who he was and she said “that’s Ed from the bank.” In those days Ed did all of the office remodeling at the Lincoln Tower, where Ceri worked, for Hagerman Construction. Over the years we became closer and closer with breakfasts after Sunday Mass, fishing locally and Canadian trips, help with home repairs and upgrades, help at work with service jobs and cabinetry and personal trust and advice that was always free and invaluable. We will miss his wit, wisdom, skill, and friendship forever.

He will be my forever Pull my finger Uncle . loved him telling his jokes . even if had heard them a hundred times before . I can hear my cousin's don't laugh that will get him started on his jokes. I remember one time when playing cards he was losing on purpose . he whispered in my ear the reason was he loved just to see getting his kids frustrated . they would change partners because when they had him they would loose .plus he said was the first time in a long time had all his kids home at the same time .thats why he did it .anyone new he was a serious card player . I will miss him dearly . I remember his hard candy stash . root beer barrels. Butterscotch . him letting us ride a tractor into the woods were there was a clearing n having a campfire .good memorys gave me advice more than most uncles would . love Kathy Davis

I was in class with 'Eddie' from first grade and we shared the same birthday although I was a year older. From the obituary it seems he had a long and I hope happy life. I send my sympathy to all the large family. Alice Jane Mortorff Miller
