Edward William Bredemeyer's Obituary
Edward William Bredemeyer, 86, departed this life on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at Golden Years Homestead, Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, he was the son of the late Herman Henry and Caroline Minna (Bredemeier) Bredemeyer. Ed graduated from New Haven High School. He retired from Falstaff Brewing Corporation in 1990 with 35 years of service. He was a lifelong member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne. Ed enjoyed historical cars especially the Auburn and Duesenberg automobiles. He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Carol Bredemeyer; niece, Robin Grames; Nephew, Joel Bredemeyer; great nephews, Benjamin Lockwood and Jeffrey Bredemeyer; great nieces, Natalie Schelling and Josette Mezera; also, his friends from the “Labor Day Gang.” He was also preceded in death by his nephew, John Robert Bredemeyer in 2016. Private graveside services will be at St. Peter’s Lutheran Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
