Edith M. Meyer's Obituary
Edith M. Meyer, 93 died peacefully at home Tuesday, August 28, 2012. Born in Gar Creek, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Ismae (Longardner) Slusher. She was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church, New Haven. In her early years she was employed at the Capehart-Farnsworth Co. in Ft. Wayne where she helped build the first television.
She is survived by several nieces, nephews. She was also preceded in death by her husband Edward Meyer in 1991 and four sisters and one brother.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 A.M. Friday, August 31, 2012 at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 800 Green St., New Haven with calling two hours prior to service time. Pastor David Stecker officiating. Preferred memorials to Emanuel Lutheran Church, New Haven.
