Dulanna Jean Hoeppner's Obituary
Dulanna J. Hoeppner, 81, of Fort Wayne, formerly of Woodburn, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at Towne House Retirement Community, Fort Wayne. Born in Woodburn, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Odeal (Ternet) Messman. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Woodburn, The Lutheran Foundation, and a leader with Stephen Ministries. She retired in 2004 after a career as an associate at Kelly Services and a business partner at Hoeppner Construction Corp. Dulanna was a very kind, sweet and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She had a servant's heart, always bringing joy to others and sharing God's love with them. Her life was lived with compassion and love while being a humble servant of God. "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven" Matthew 5:16.
She is survived by her sons, Mark (Heather) and Scott (Jenny) Hoeppner; sister, Jeannine Tomlinson; grandchildren, Hannah (CJ) Hoeppner-Stephensen, Chase Hoeppner, Caroline (Curtis) Hoeppner-Krugh, and Kathryn Hoeppner; great grandchildren, Paige Alber and Max Krugh; step grandchildren, Cameron Christen and Cylie and Cyndall Pyle and step great grandson, Reese Krugh. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Max; and grandson, Austin Hoeppner.
Funeral Service is 11 a.m., Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at Christ Lutheran Church, 4412 Park St, Woodburn, with visitation one hour prior. Visitation is also 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 17, 2024, at Harper's Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven. Preferred memorials to Christ Lutheran Church.
