Doyle D. Disler's Obituary
Doyle D. Disler, 93, of Fort Wayne, died Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012 at home. Born in New Haven, he was the son of the late Frank and Louisa Disler. He was a member of New Haven United Methodist Church, New Haven. Doyle was a WWII US Navy veteran and employed for 35 years with International Harvester Corp.
He is survived by his children, Dennis Disler of Fort Wayne, Rosalie (Stephen) Spice of Maryville, Tenn; grandchildren, Matthew Spice of Knoxville, Tenn, Heather (Tony) Boring of Maryville, Tenn, great granddaughter, Catarina Boring; and sister, Delores (Gene) Emenhiser of Monroeville. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mae Disler in 2007; and brothers, Donald and James Disler.
Funeral service is 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with visitation one hour prior to service. Pastor Chuck Fenwick officiating. Entombment is in Covington Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, preferred memorials are to your favorite charity.
