Dorothy J. Jane Miller's Obituary
Dorothy Jane Miller, 85, of New Haven, passed away on Monday, January 9, 2023, at Parkview Hospital - Randallia, Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late Orlo Fisher and Iola (Johnson) Yoquelet. She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, New Haven. She worked for the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles and Anthony Wayne Bank. She enjoyed making greeting cards, card club, being at the lake, cooking, and was a member of the Howard Bandelier VFW Post 2457 Auxiliary.
She is survived by her children, Gary (Karla) Miller of New Haven, Greg (Jo) Miller of Fort Wayne, and Debra Smith of Sellersburg; nine grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Norman in 2018; and siblings, Delight Springer and Devon Frane.
Funeral service is 11 a.m. Saturday, January 14, 2023, at Harper's Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with visitation one hour prior. Visitation is also 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, January 13, 2023, at the funeral home. Burial in IOOF Cemetery, New Haven.
