I was so sorry to hear about Dottie's passing. She and Bill were good friends of my Grandma and Papa, Francie and Ray Guichard and also to my mom, Jayne. I have wonderful memories of the ladies of the neighborhood getting together every week for coffee and stories. She and Bill are a part of my childhood and she will be greatly missed.
I am so very sorry to hear of Dot's passing. Facebook family let me know. Dot was my babysitter, but my best recollections are when I was a junior bridesmaid in her wedding to Bill. What a happy day...and a hot one...before air conditioning! :) I remember her always sending us silver dollars for our birthdays, and I even still have mine. And I was privileged to be a babysitter to Dot and Bill's son Ray when he was a little baby. Dot was a forever friend to my family, and was always there for my dad and mother. She and Bill often took Dad places with them after Mother died too. I'll miss you, Dot!! My life was better because were in it. My love and sympathy to Bill and Ray and family.
Dot Easterly was a babysitter to my sister Mary Petersen and me in Butler, IN. We knew her as "Dorsey Birdie". She and Bill became lifelong friends to my parents and our family. It was always a delight to see them. I was so sorry to see the news on Facebook.

Dot was a very special friend loved by all.
My sincere sympathies to you Bill, Ray and family. Dot was a wonderful and lovely woman. I have many fond memories growing up in the neighborhood of her. I pray for your continued strength during this time and know that you are in my prayers.
I will always remember Dot and Bill greeting me at church on Sunday. What a warm and wonderful person Dot was. (Bill is too!) My condolences to the family. Heaven has another greeter!
I was so sorry to hear of Dot's passing, she was my second grade teacher and after getting married Bill and Dotty moved next door to my parents, and they became very special neighbors. Bill and Ray, please accept my condolences.
