Doris M. Reinking's Obituary
Doris Marie Reinking, 93, passed away on Monday, July 18, 2022, at home. Born on March 26, 1929, in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late Emanuel and Mary (Norris) Zimmerman. She married Harry Reinking in 1973, who preceded her in death in 2019. She retired in 1992 from Rea Magnet Wire after 38 years. She was a faithful member of Concordia Lutheran Church on Lake Ave., Fort Wayne. Doris also enjoyed reading and traveling on cruises and bus trips. Doris will be greatly missed by her son, Charles "Chuck" (Sue) Garber Jr; grandsons, Christopher and Sean (Kodi) Garber; adoring great grandsons, Chase Andrew and Jack Joseph Garber all of Fort Wayne; three nephews; one niece; and extended nephew, niece and great nieces in the Reinking family. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Carl and William Zimmerman. Funeral service is 2 p.m. Thursday, July 21, 2022, at Harper's Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with visitation two hours prior. Entombment in Concordia Cemetery Gardens, Fort Wayne.
