Doris J Pucher's Obituary
Doris Jean Pucher, 91, passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at Golden Years Homestead, Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late Hugh and Frieda (Stalf) Kerr. She was a member of Cathedral of Immaculate Conception. She was also a past member and vice president of the Fort Wayne Women’s Club. An avid reader, she was a past president of the South Side Reading Club. She also enjoyed cooking and was the past vice president of her bridge club.
She is survived by her children, Michael (Melody) Pucher and Dan (Roxie) Pucher both of New Haven, Karen (Tom) Johnson of Flowery Brach, GA; brother, Roland Kerr of Fort Wayne; eight grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Henry in 2001; and sister-in-law, Estelle Kerr.
Mass of Christian Burial is 10 a.m., Monday at the Cathedral of Immaculate Conception, 1122 S Clinton St, Fort Wayne with visitation one hour prior to service. Father Jacob Runyon officiating. Visitation is also 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Harper’s Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with a vigil at 3 p.m. Entombment in Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Preferred memorials are to Masses or the church.
