Doris Mae Lawson's Obituary
Doris Mae Lawson, 91, of Hoagland, passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at Kingston Care Center, Fort Wayne. Born in Bath, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Homer and Ethel (Reiboldt) Huntington. She was a self-employed seamstress and antique dealer. Doris enjoyed finding an antique piece at a great price. She also enjoyed cooking and loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children, Doug (Vera) Lawson, Tim Lawson, Dana (Jack) Rochyby, D. Katie (Larry) Wiedman, and Danelle (Brian) Witte; 24 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 74 years, David Lawson who passed away this past January; sister, Betty Biggs.
Funeral Services is 11 a.m., Saturday, June 22, 2024, at Harper's Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven, with visitation one hour prior. Visitations are also Friday, June 21, 2024, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial in Concordia Cemetery Gardens, Fort Wayne. Preferred memorials to Dove's Nest or Community Harvest Food Bank.
