Doris M. Hoffer's Obituary
Doris M. Hoffer, 83, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at home with her family by her side. Born in Dayton, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Ella (Fulton) Ridley. She was a member of South Union Christian Church, Miamisburg, Ohio, and was a youth church teacher. She sang in the choir, was a soloist, and was part of a quartet with her two sisters and mother, with Jean on the piano. She was a hard worker who was known for her strength, determination, and sense of humor. She enjoyed shopping, collecting antiques, dolls, and angels.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Rev. Feril C. Hoffer Sr.; children, Feril C. Hoffer Jr. of Aurora, CO, Debra (Lateef Hashem) Hoffer of Cedar Park, TX, and Denise (Ramon) Sanderson of Cecil, Ohio; sister, Ardyce Florence of Kettering, OH; grandchildren, Angela Sanderson of Cecil, OH, Alani (David) Bidwell, Charissa and Breona Hoffer all of Denver, CO, Jacob Hashem of Leander, TX and Jason Hashem of Cedar Park, TX; with one great grandchild on the way. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Jean Joseph, Juanita Pollitt, and Judy Bailey.
