Doris E. Griest's Obituary
Doris E. Griest, 91, of New Haven died Saturday, December 28, 2013 at Parkview Regional Medical Center. Born in Sidney, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Bertha (Brandenburg) Royer. She was a bookkeeper for many years with Bill McCormick Chevrolet. She was a member of the New Haven United Methodist Church.
Doris is survived by her children, Larry (Judy) Griest of Columbia City, Annette (Bill) Blosser of Hudson; five grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Griest in 1990; and brothers, Paul Royer and Everett Royer.
Funeral service is 11 a.m. Thursday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with calling two hours prior. Pastor Chuck Fenwick officiating. Burial in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, New Haven. Preferred memorials are to New Haven United Methodist Church.
