Doris A Fisher (Dottie)'s Obituary
Doris “Dottie” A. Fisher, 80, entered the gates of heaven on Friday, January 8, 2016 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. Born in Denver, IN she was the daughter of the late Herman and Bertha (Lesley) Kline. She retired in 1991 from General Electric after 25 years. After retirement she enjoyed working for Meijer’s as a food demonstrator.
Our beloved G-Dot was a grandma to everyone that she encountered. Anyone lucky enough to meet her will never forget her twinkling blue eyes, her beautiful smile, her positive attitude, and her love for life. Her favorite day would include working in her yard while her pool was filled with friends and family. Her greatest wish would be for everyone to carry a piece of her love and share it with everyone they meet.
She is survived by her son Jeffery (Mistie) McNary; daughter Deborah (David) Flueckiger; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two brothers and two sisters; several nieces and nephews, and many loving friends. She was also preceded in death by her husband Conrad Fisher in 1994; infant son; Rodney five brothers and one sister.
Funeral service is Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with calling half hour prior. Calling is 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at the funeral home. Burial in I.O.O.F. Cemetery, New Haven.
