Donald Wilson's Obituary
Donald Wilson, 83, died Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. Born in Waynedale, he was the son of the late Eldon and Mildred Wilson. He served his country in the US Army during the Korean War and retired as a Superintendent from Gladieux Refinery after 39 years.
Donald is survived by his wife of 62 years, Phyllis; children, Ron (Kathi) Wilson of LaGrange, Mike (Jayme) Wilson of Kendallville, Barb (Vern) Lange of Spencerville, Judy (Dave) Gerardot and Rhonda (David) Sitko both of Monroeville, and Michele (Art Richardson) Wilson of Fort Wayne; siblings, Bob Wilson, Gerri Stephens; 17 grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Ann Wright, Jane Bullock, and Eugene Wilson.
Funeral Service is 10 a.m. Saturday, at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with calling one hour prior. Rev. Paul Shoemaker officiating. Calling is also 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Preferred memorials are to the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society.
